This marked the birth of Third World, a band that Cat has been a part of for an impressive 50 years. During his tenure with Third World, Cat has achieved great success, with chart-topping hits, nine Grammy nominations, and numerous prestigious awards, including the United Nation Medal of Peace and the National Honors with the Order of Distinction of Jamaica in 2005.
