Elaine Thompson-Herah Becomes Brand Ambassador for Dior

Jamaica’s double Olympic champion, Elaine Thompson-Herah, has recently been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for Dior. This prestigious role comes as part of Dior’s Dream Team, which has been assembled ahead of the Paris Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Thompson-Herah, who is aiming for an historic triple double at this year’s multi-sport event, joins a group of 15 top international female athletes who have been signed to represent the renowned French fashion house.

Thompson-Herah’s Achievements and Record-Breaking Speed:
Elaine Thompson-Herah, at just 31 years old, holds the Jamaican National 100m record and is recognized as the fastest woman alive over this distance. Her remarkable speed and determination have propelled her to become a double Olympic champion. With her impressive accomplishments, Thompson-Herah has made Jamaica proud and has become an inspiration for aspiring athletes worldwide.

Dior’s Dream Team and Thompson-Herah’s Fellow Athletes:
Among the 15 exceptional athletes selected by Dior, Thompson-Herah is joined by renowned athletes from various sports disciplines. United States soccer player Alex Morgan, an Olympic gold medalist and two-time World Cup winner, will return to the pitch after recovering from an ankle injury. Hawaiian surfer Carissa Moore, the first-ever Olympic gold medalist in women’s short board surfing at the Tokyo 2020 Games, also joins the roster. Dior has also enlisted swimmer Emma McKeon, Australia’s most decorated Olympian, and Japanese fencer Misaki Emura.

Italian Athletes in the Dior Dream Team:
The Dream Team includes six exceptional Italian athletes, namely fencers Rossella Fiamingo, Alice Volpi, and Arianna Errigo, as well as Paralympic fencers Beatrice “Bebe” Vio Grandis, Andreea Mogos, and Loredana Trigilia. These athletes bring their remarkable skills and achievements to the Dior family, further enhancing the brand’s association with excellence and success.

French Athletes Representing Dior:
Representing France, the home country of Dior, are four exceptional athletes. Boxer Estelle Mossely, skateboarder Louise-Aina Taboulet, fencer Sara Balzer, and judoka Clarisse Agbégnénou, who aims to secure her second Olympic gold medal after her triumph at the Tokyo Games.

Joint Ambassadors: Melanie de Jesus dos Santos, Pauline Déroulède, and Marie Patouillet:
Dior and LVMH had previously announced three joint ambassadors, including gymnast Melanie de Jesus dos Santos, wheelchair tennis player Pauline Déroulède, and Para-cyclist Marie Patouillet. These accomplished athletes, along with a group of other athletes, proudly carried the Olympic torch on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

Celebrating the Athletes at Le Café Dior in La Galerie Dior:
To honor the participating athletes, a captivating series of portraits will be displayed at Le Café Dior in La Galerie Dior, located in the brand’s historic flagship store in Paris. From July 24 to September 9, these portraits will pay tribute to the extraordinary talents and achievements of these exceptional athletes.
