Royalton Hotels & Resorts has officially reopened its complete Jamaica portfolio, bringing five all-inclusive properties back into full operation across Negril and Montego Bay following a prolonged closure caused by storm damage from Hurricane Melissa.
The reopenings mark the completion of a phased restoration schedule announced earlier this year, which involved comprehensive repairs, structural inspections, and property-wide enhancements to guest accommodations, public areas, and operational infrastructure.
Enhanced Accommodations and Modern Digital Upgrades
As part of the refurbishment, guestrooms and suites across all five properties were redesigned to blend sleek, contemporary interiors with traditional Jamaican design touches.
The properties are all members of Marriott’s Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resorts, allowing Marriott Bonvoy loyalty members to earn and redeem points on stay packages. In addition to refreshed interiors, guest accommodations have been equipped with updated digital amenities:
- In-Room Technology: High-speed Wi-Fi covering both room interiors and beachfront areas, alongside interactive smart televisions.
- Mobile Ecosystem: Access to the resort app for mobile pre-check-in, room service ordering, concierge messaging, and activity schedules.
- Online Room Selection: A pre-arrival digital service allowing guests to select their exact room preference ahead of time.
- AI Concierge: Plans to launch an interactive, AI-driven concierge service in the coming months to handle real-time guest inquiries.
The company also reinstated solar panel arrays at Royalton Negril and Royalton Blue Waters, projected to generate over 634,000 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy annually.

Located near Montego Bay, the dual-resort complex provides expansive family and adults-only options:
- Royalton Blue Waters: Features nine restaurants, seven bars, a lazy river, a pirate-themed water park, youth programming, and an outdoor theater.
- Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters: An adults-only layout housing 352 suites, dedicated quiet areas, and access to an offshore private islet. Guests enjoy access to amenities at Royalton Blue Waters, offering a combined footprint of 12 restaurants and 11 bars.
Future Portfolio Expansion
Royalton’s footprint in Jamaica is set to grow further with the upcoming debut of Royalton CHIC Jamaica Paradise Cove, an adults-only lifestyle property slated to open in summer 2027 as the first Royalton CHIC-branded resort in the country.
