Gramps Morgan Launches The First Ever Ghana Jamaica Homecoming Festival

With its main objective being to deepen diaspora and cultural ties, the inaugural Ghana/Jamaica Homecoming Festival is set to take place from December 4-5 2026 in Accra, Ghana. The festival was recently launched in Ghana and according to co-event organiser Gramps Morgan, it is more than just about music.

Gramps Morgan says, “This festival is a trade show and we are inviting people from Jamaica and Ghana to come together and talk trade. We will have people from the fashion industry, the food industry and the agriculture industry, among others. We want to create the platform so that people can come together and experience it.”

Organisers say the initiative will feature a range of activities, including cultural immersion experiences, business networking engagements and creative showcases designed to strengthen ties between Ghana and Jamaica while promoting a sense of global African unity.

As Ghana continues to position itself as a gateway for diaspora engagement, the Homecoming Festival adds to a growing list of initiatives aimed at making culture a central part of the country’s international outreach.

The festival is a joint effort between Broadway Entertainment and Dadason Entertainment, with execution spearheaded by Six Degrees Africa.
