The streets of Ocho Rios will come alive on Sunday, October 25, 2026, as the Ocho Rios Road March & Parade, a Custos Commando initiative, brings the community together in a vibrant celebration of Jamaican culture, heritage, unity and national pride.
The parade, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., will travel from Margaritaville to Ocean Village, Ocho Rios, showcasing the discipline, talent and cultural traditions of Jamaica through a colourful procession of uniformed groups and musical marching bands.
The public can look forward to the participation of Scouts, Police, Brownies, Cadets and marching bands, in a traditional uniformed musical march that celebrates the spirit of community service, discipline, patriotism and togetherness.

As an initiative of the Custos Commando Programme, the event reflects a commitment to bringing community-driven visions to life, strengthening civic pride and creating meaningful opportunities for Jamaicans to celebrate their shared heritage.
Members of the public are encouraged to participate, dressed in Jamaican national colours — black, green and gold — and join in making the occasion a memorable expression of national pride.
The Ocho Rios Road March & Parade promises an afternoon of music, entertainment, cultural expression and community spirit, with residents and visitors alike invited to be part of the celebration.
