HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Begona Cliff Hotel was formerly a guest house known as Birchrunville Cottages, but was in great need of modernisation so could no longer operate as a guest house. They decided to demolish the existing house and build a small boutique hotel with 12 rooms under the guidance of award winning Jamaican architect, Maxine Gibson.
The new hotel employed local trades to get it up and running and is taking shape nicely. The staff are brilliant and the bar and grill are a great place to visit and watch the sun set in the evening.
